Glasgow – A Top Destination
Like a lot of post industrial powerhouses, Glasgow has been like a phoenix rising from the ashes in recent years.
Glasgow has a great deal to offer the tourist, and especially those interested in music, both classical and contemporary. It also has some wonderful old buildings, which have been well preserved; the shopping experience is very good – with all the top national and international high street brands. As a weekend break destination, it has been voted in several surveys as people's top choice.
Most people will travel to Glasgow - if they want to spend the weekend there - by air and there are plentiful cheap flights to Glasgow available at present.
